[ REQ 5911]: Problem with X11 Geomview and HP-UX 10.10

I hope this is the correct address for problem reports. I have
downloaded and installed the HPUX-X11 binary release and installed it
per the included instructions. Upon launching from the command line, the
following error messages occur:

$ geomview

The system in question is an HPUX 9000/710 w/ 64 MB of RAM running HPUX
10.10.  I have been running 10.10 for about 2 months and have had really
good results with programs compiled on a 9.0x system running on the
10.10 system.  I am attempting to compile from the source, myself, but
the task is prooving to be a daunting one. If I can provide more info as
to the cause of this problem, please let me know.
