Hello,
what exactly does the NTSC video mode in the SGI version do? I understand that it changes the sync frequency on my graphics board to something my monitor can't
display (and fails to restore it correctly afterwards) My questions:
Can I use this somehow to make video recordings with cheap (i.e. no scan-down) converters for PC VGA? What are the video timings in this mode? what
was it originally meant for? Excuse me if I should have found the answers somewhere in the doc or FAQ, but I didn't so far. Thank you very much in

..besides, I'm a real Geomview fan. Half my PhD thesis relies on it. You did really good work there.
