You might try picking up the following package by anonymous FTP
from geom.umn.edu:

    priv/slevy/Geomview-irix5.tar.gz

It's intended to be extracted from whatever directory Geomview was
installed under, so if Geomview is in /usr/local/Geomview, you could say
   cd /usr/local
   gzip -d -c <.../Geomview-irix5.tar.gz | tar xvfop -

It overwrites the executables for geomview, and all the modules which use
FORMS, with versions compiled under Irix 5.  These do appear to work under
Irix 6.
