Hello, 
I am trying to build Geomview 1.5 on an i486 running SVR4 (AT&T). 
When compiling with the -g opt, my
compiler chokes, o.k. fine 1.4.3 had the
same problem but using -O instead fixed that
but just changing Makedefs.global only fixed this
for "most" of the build when it gets to makeing 
geomview proper, its tries with -g again.
I can't seem to find where this happens.
